How to Practice the 4-2-6 Breathing Technique

  • Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of four.

  • Hold your breath for two counts.

  • Exhale completely through your mouth for a count of six.

  • Visualize stress leaving your body with each exhale.

  • Repeat this cycle for several breaths, allowing your body and mind to settle into a state of calm.
